Inspecting the Transmission

Leaking oil seals and gaskets are probably the most

common causes of transmission problems. If such problems are not corrected in time, the gears, shafts, and bearings can be ruined.

There are many possible causes for oil seal or gasket failures, so always look for causes whenever you find such failures, and certainly before the unit is placed back in operation.
