The types of PM inspection are defined and given as follows:

Type A Inspections

This type of inspection is given at intervals of 40 working days, using the appropriate PM service and inspection guide. They are performed on scheduled PM due dates. After having received two Type A PMs, the vehicle qualifies for a Type B inspection.

Type B Inspections

The Type B PM inspection is performed after two consecutive Type A inspections, using the appropriate PM service and inspection guide.
