USING THE BRUSH HOOK
WARNING

WHEN WORKING WHERE FLYING
PARTICLES MAY CAUSE EYE INJURY.
1 To use the brush hook on a tree branch, lift the curve
of the hook above the branch and make short,
chopping strokes downward against the surface of
the branch.
2 To cut small brush or bushes, swing the brush hook
horizontally. The hooked portion will keep the brush
from bouncing away from the cutting edge.
CARE OF BRUSH-CUTTING TOOLS

Repair all nicks and dulled cutting edges
immediately.
2.
For prolonged storage, coat metal parts with
light oil.

Replace defective handle immediately.
